The prototype house was conceived as a replicable, affordable house for clients in Japan. The house is intended as a standard house format that can be reproduced or slightly modified to provide a competitive, but high quality architectural home for Japanese families. The home utilizes many characteristics that are found throughout the architecture of Robert Harvey Oshatz Architect, and presents them in a simplified and rectilinear fashion. The simple rectilinear form is complimented by rich timber detailing and carefully resolved glazing details. The house presents an excellent value architectural home.
